Build Your Network for Fitness Support

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

In January, all of the goals we have set for ourselves for 2023 can start to feel like work. The shine isn't as bright as it used to be... We need more encouragement and fitness support to keep going. You might even start to wonder if this year will be the same as every other... or if you're really going to do it this time!

Well, I know you can do this because I believe in you. So, I'm going to tell you a simple and powerful way to find that extra bit of fire you need to keep going. Because, if you tell your friends or family about your goals, they might not be as excited about them as you are. In fact, they might be skeptical or feel threatened about the changes you're making. It's annoying, right? But things like this happen all the time. It's also one of the most common worries I hear from new clients.

People probably just need a little time to get used to the fact that you're doing good things for yourself, and they might even be inspired to do the same.  But in the meantime, you've heard the old saying, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with." If you're the healthiest and fittest person in your "5", it's time to add more people to your network for fitness support and to push you to reach new goals.

How does that work? Here are five quick ideas that come to mind:

•Join a fitness studio or gym

•Take classes

•Go where people who care about health and fitness are.

•Get help from a coach.

•Keep your eyes open for fun and new things to do. Once you start looking, you'll be surprised at how many you'll find.
