The benefits of exercising are many. There is no doubt that we turn to exercise to lose weight or tone up. But you’ll also see these benefits.
People always ask me, “can you guarantee I’ll see results in ONE month with training”? Well, I’m no magician but here’s what I can tell you. Can fitness success be guaranteed? Yes and No. Let me explain.
?My most successful clients have all done one thing; they’ve made a commitment!
They haven’t dipped in and out, they have gone all-in and with my guidance and training, they have all achieved their own version of success.
?Just recently I’ve had clients:
✔️running with no knee pain.
✔️losing body fat and feeling #energized and confident.
✔️gain muscle mass and keep it on
So, no, I cannot guarantee a fast shortcut to reach your fitness goals, but I can guarantee that once you make a commitment to yourself, I’ll be there coaching you through until you get there.
When you have a fitness goal you will undoubtedly only focus on the results you want, but there a lot of other results you’ll see simply for adding exercise to your daily routine. Here are the top benefits of exercising, your end goal is the cherry on top.
Benefits of exercising
1) More Energy
Exercise in itself may be tiring and in some cases exhausting, a major benefit of exercise is the fact that it leaves you feeling more energized. Studies have shown that exercising regularly helps to reduce fatigue.
2) Improve Your Mood
When you exercise, your body releases endorphins that help you feel good. You could say that exercise gives you a natural high! You’re also able to think clearer and have better control of your emotions. Have you noticed that many successful people include exercise in their daily routine?
3) Improve Your Overall Health
A great side effect of exercising is fat loss. There are so many health benefits of losing excess body fat that it’s impossible to list them all here! By losing excess body fat you are reducing the risk of diseases. Some of those include
4) Improve Your Appearance
When you exercise regularly you’ll notice several changes in your appearance. This includes clearer skin, tight skin, fat loss, leaner, and toner physique. Most of those changes can happen when you adopt a healthier diet too. This goes hand in hand with exercising because you’ll need to fuel your body with healthier food alternatives. When you lose excess body fat, you’ll probably feel better due to increased confidence as well.
5) Play With Your Kids
If you have kids, you know they are a bundle of energy wrapped in cuteness. It really does take a lot of energy to keep up with our kiddos. By getting fit, you’ll be able to run around with them without constantly getting out of breath. If you are prone to joint pain, exercises help you prevent joint pain while you play with them.
One of the most rewarding benefits of exercising is it helps you to enjoy life more.
6) Better Sleep
I know you’ve probably heard this one. But there is the deal. 8 hours of sleep does not equal a good’s night rest for everyone. Some people need 5 hours and some need up to 9 hours of sleep. When you exercise you’ll find that it is easier to get a good night’s rest. This adds to the energy boost that you’ll get from exercise in the long term.
7) Increase Your Stamina and Strength
Do you find it hard to go on long walks, even though you try to? Or maybe even doing everyday chores around the house and yard is a struggle? You will be able to eventually handle these activities with exercise. The types of exercises that help are a combination of cardio, balance, core, and weight lifting.
8) Reduce Stress
Exercise can reduce stress levels. If you suffer from stress – or even mental health issues such as depression and anxiety – regular exercise can help to reduce your symptoms.
9) A Sense Of Achievement
When you exercise and see the improvements you’re making week on week, you’ll really get the feeling that you’ve achieved something worthwhile! This helps you stay motivated to do more in your life. Don’t be surprised if this motivation spills into your career, family life, and more.
10) Keep Your Independence Later In Life
Exercise now while you’re still able. Tomorrow is not guaranteed. It’s easier to reduce the impact of certain health problems later in life today. In short, keeping fit and healthy will help you to keep your independence as late into life as possible.
So how much will you need to work out to feel these benefits of exercising?
The amount of work you need to put in depends on your current fitness levels and your goals. The good news is that just 30 minutes of exercise a day is enough to improve your health drastically. So what are you waiting for?!
